This progressive Premiership football club steeped in Football history are looking for a dynamic, experienced Technical Director.

The Role:

Ensure all player development and coaching within the club follow the First Team philosophy and playing style across the whole club, meaning Youth Teams and above .
Ensure their Scouting and Talent ID teams are correctly structured. Ensuring they are managed and resourced in order to maximise the clubs ability to identify and attract the best and most appropriate playing talent both nationally and internationally for the club at all age groups.
Create and facilitate a structure to increase the potential pipeline of 16-23 age group players with the potential of transitioning to the first team and ensuring that all potential pathways for this journey are both open and maximised to the full
Work closely with the Chairman and CEO on the negotiation of incoming player contracts with selling clubs and players agents where needed.

Preferred Background and Qualifications:

Must be experienced at coaching level and qualified as a coach to minimum of UEFA B Level.
Possess an excellent network of contacts at top clubs throughout Europe and worldwide
Be willing to travel at least 40% of working time but also be present at the club for a minimum of 3 days per week to manage and direct as appropriate
Be highly competent in IT especially in the use of various scouting and Talent ID packages
Excellent communication skills and a team player with strong presentation skills
Proven track record of team and people management
Fluency in at least one of French, German, Spanish or Italian would be useful but not essential .

Experience Required:

A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within a top level professional European league club.
Experience of working with both a Board of Directors and First Team Management.
Proven skills in creating and development a network of Football Agents.
Must be a first class communicator and negotiator with a persuasive personality.
