Job Role Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic coach to join our Academy Foundation Phase coaching team in a full-time position. Working with our players in the 9's to 12's age group you will play a key role in the delivery of an engaging, challenging and individually developed coaching sessions.

Based at our Motspur Park Training Ground you will plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions in line with the Club's player development philosophy. You will work closely with the Foundation Phase Manager and Head of Academy Coaching to deliver an exceptional programme across your age groups.

Candidates must have a proven track record of working with and developing young people you will also need to demonstrate the necessary desire and commitment to professional development.Previous experience of working within an Academy environment supporting Foundation Phase player development is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator with the ability to adapt to the situation and audience. A solid understanding of learning,motivation and effective practice design for Foundation phase players is essential.

The successful applicant will been rolled onto the Fulham FC Academy CPD programme where they will gain access to all Academy coaching resources and be able to observe Academy training / coaches and as well listen to a range of guest speakers at staff events.

Candidates must hold a minimum UEFA B License and the FA Advanced Youth Award / FA Youth Award qualification, plus have in date BFAS or EFAiF first aid qualification and FA safeguarding qualification. A detailed understanding of safeguarding children and experience of risk assessing is also required for this position.
