Job Role Details
Sunderland AFC has an exciting opportunity for a new Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead on our physical development programmes. This role, focusing on our first team squad, will lead on the strength and conditioning programmes for all our full-time players to optimize their physical development and performance.
We are seeking an experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach (40 hours, Monday to Sunday) able to demonstrate extensive experience in the development of high-quality services to performance athletes, groups and teams.
The ability to engage, inspire and motivate players of varying ages is important to us as is the ability to share and collaborate with colleagues. The ideal candidate must possess sound technical understanding and the ability to work within the football ecosystem bringing a positive, problem-solving approach to SAFC.
This position will include the design and structure of individual player development plans, providing impactful feedback to players to support progression and maintaining a comprehensive database of work conducted.
