Job summary:

Established in 1917, ACPE is one of the oldest independent Higher Education Providers in Australia and is the obvious choice when it comes to careers in Sport, Health, Fitness, Education and Dance. ACPE delivers world leading education and creates industry-ready graduates.

This year, ACPE is combining its sports teaching expertise and resources with the proven football development methodology and philosophy of Liverpool Football Club to create a partnership that will deliver a range of youth coaching and academy programs. Players will be offered an exclusive opportunity to improve their football skills and develop in the technical, tactical, physical and social aspects of the game through age-specific coaching sessions.

Position Overview

These positions will be based at our partners school, Bishop Druitt College Coffs Harbour and will be responsible for the effective delivery of all technical coaching aligned with the philosophy of the club as directed by the Liverpool FC International Academy NSW (LFCIA NSW) Technical Director.

The successful applicants must be able to develop players consistent with ACPE values and club philosophy ensuring both session plans and key messages remain consistent. For this reason, experience working within a youth development or academy program is considered an essential requirement for the role.

Required Skills and Experience

- Valid Football Australia C Licence (or equivalent) or Bachelor of Physical Education/Sports Coaching/Sports Science (or equivalent) or extensive demonstrable coaching experience.

- A strong grounding in youth development.

- Demonstrated ability to create a fun and supportive environment conducive to holistic football development

- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people including children and parents

- Willingness to engage in ongoing Coach Education to create an authentic experience for players adhering to the Liverpool FC values and methodology

All applicants must have a valid and acceptable Working With Children Check certificate and have ongoing work rights for work in Australia. A current First-Aid Certificate is desirable.
