HIGHLAND LEAGUE Wick Academy landed a gruelling 13-HOUR 696-mile round trip to face Lowland League Dalbeattie Star as the first round draw in the William Hill Scottish Cup threw up some intriguing ties.

Last season's underdog heroes East Kilbride FC landed a home tie against Lowland League rivals Vale of Leithen as they bid to recreate the run that took them through to meet Celtic last time out.
