CHRISTIAN TEACHING...Fuchs, now at Charlotte FC, is focused on helping young players progresscharlottefootballclub.com

The Fox Soccer Academy was launched by former Leicester City and Austria left-back Christian Fuchs to help developing young players reach the height of their potential.

Fuchs, now 36 and signed to MLS expansion side Charlotte FC, was an integral part of the fairytale story that saw Claudio Ranieri's Foxes lift the English Premier League title in 2016.

And Christian, capped 78 times for Austria in a storied playing career, revealed: "The initiative to start Fox Soccer Academy started from my own experience as a teenager, being rejected by several Austrian academies.

"The guidance of my mentors helped me to work harder and become more focused to reach my goal to become a professional player.

"I went on to win the Premier League as the starting left-back with Leicester City.

"Now my personal goal and mission with Fox Soccer Academy is to inspire young players and help the next generation of players to achieve their dreams and to spread the love of the game.

"Our curriculum is based on my personal experience of over 18 years in professional football and includes tactics and training methodologies from the top managers I have worked with."

Trevor then is in the perfect place to learn as he looks forward to the challenges of his new Tournament Director role.

And he said: "I'm fortunate to have superb mentors where I work and it's a joy to be able to learn from the Fuchs family and Mark Smith as well.

"They are very ambitious people and they are constantly looking at ways to make everyone around them become their best selves."
