- Motherwell had led through Scott McDonald
- Win keeps Ibrox side top of the table
~COMPANYNAME~] client Kenny Miller was the hero for Rangers as his late goal secured all three points for the Ibrox club against Motherwell.
Mark McGee's Motherwell had seriously threatened to cause an upset on a testing afternoon for their hosts.
Former Celtic striker Scott McDonald silenced the crowd with a goal after 19 minutes. The Australian tapped in Marvin Johnson's cross after beating the Rangers offside trap.
From then on Rangers pressed hard for an equaliser but Motherwell. featuring another ~COMPANYNAME~] client James Hollman as part of their coaching staff, were well-organised and difficult to break down.
Rangers weren't to be denied however. Miller was involved in the equalising goal after 64 minutes- latching onto Niko Kranjcar's through pass only to see his effort well saved by goalkeeper Craig Samson. Harry Forrester scored the rebound.
Kranjcar was again involved as Rangers sealed the win in injury time. The Croatian crossed for fellow sub Michael O'Halloran. O'Halloran failed to connect, but Miller made no mistake and fired past Samson to secure the three points which sent the Gers back to the top of the table.
