Sport Careers Agency managerial clients enjoyed a good weekend- in particular Graeme Alexander and Derek Adams whose sides lead the way in League One and League Two respectively.
Alexander led his side to a 1-0 win away at Shrewsbury Town, with the goal coming from David Mirfin on the stroke of half time.
The win saw Scunthorpe take advantage of Bolton's surprise defeat to Walsall to go a pint clear at the top of the table with a game in hand on their nearest rivals.
Elsewhere in League One, Danny Wilson's Chesterfield ended Northampton Town's 31-game unbeaten run with a a 3-1 at the Proact Stadium to move up to 10th the table,while Stuart McCall's Bradford City drew 1-1 at home to Bristol Rovers and stay 4th.
Derek Adams had plenty of reason to be cheerful after his Plymouth Argyle side won 2-0 beat Exeter City 2-0. The Devon derby success moves Argyle two points clear of Exeter at the top of League Two.
Leeds United picked up their second league in of the season, and second in four days, with a 2-0 victory away to Cardiff. The win moves Leeds, now managed by Garry Monk assisted Pep Clotet and Sport Careers Agency director James Beattie, up to 15th in the Championship table.
In the National League, Mark Cooper continued his impressive start to life a Forest Green Rovers manager. A 1-0 home victory over Bromley moves Rovers leaves Rovers in second place, just a point behind leaders Dagenham and Redbridge.
