Head of Performance Analysis (Coach)

  • Date Joined: 12th April 2018
I have completed a degree, gaining an upper second class (2:1) in sport development & coaching. Short term I plan to further my experience, while seeking a permanent role in my desired field of sports.
Longer term I aim to move into a role inside of a football club/school sports department of coaching and/or player development.

I have experience working with both international and local students in a teaching and coaching environment including accompanying the team on international trips to various tournaments. This has allowed me to develop my communication and teamwork skills leading to stronger relationships with both staff and students. I have often had to prepare presentations, schemes of work, lesson plans/observations, and detailed coaching sessions. I’m an excellent public speaker with the ability to deliver presentations to a variety of audiences. During my time at Liverpool Football Club Foundation I have been involved in working with and coaching a number of different age groups from varying backgrounds. Good organisational skills, competent in IT in particular Microsoft Office and have experience of many other different software packages, excellent communication both written and verbal. Self-motivated to work towards deadlines. Being the only ever freshman at university to captain the Varsity football team I believe I have the skills to be both a leader and a strong team player.

My latest position involved starting off in a performance analysis role dealing with the statistical approach to football coaching I was able to enhance the college performance in all 3 age groups. Creating a new dimension to the college, I was awarded the Head of Analysis role with the use of software such as Hudl & Polar team pro. Alongside my Head of Analysis role I also incorporated a teacher/football coaching role within the college. Teaching Level 3 BTEC Sport gave me the opportunity to experience a broad range of learners as well as topics. I was able to use my personal and professional experiences to influence the learning of all students.
