Bobby Jenks is an immensely experienced football scout and coach who has worked at numerous elite clubs across both Scotland and England over the course of a 40 year career in the game. A highly respected figure for his ability to identify and nurture talent, Bobby has consistently proved to be a key figure in building successful teams on the pitch as well as a positive club environment off it.

  • Personally signed young players as teenagers at Motherwell including future Scotland internationals Lee McCulloch and James McFadden; current Leeds United player Lee Erwin; and current Fulham player Shaun Hutchinson
  • Identified current Scotland international Steven Fletcher as a 10 year old at boys club level, bringing his full team to play in the development leagues for Motherwell before his signing by Hibernian
  • Secured awards from the Littlewoods Foundation at Motherwell and the Sports Council at Hearts, receiving a new mini-bus for the academy at each club
  • Won the Clydesdale Bank Premier League Community Initiative award at Hearts as well as the STV Award at Motherwell
  • Invited to Holyrood Palace for the Queen’s Tea Party as recognition of work undertaken in the community
