Currently a Head Soccer Coach and Sports Performance Development Coordinator with GPS Soccer - exclusive partners of Bayern Munich in North America - Carlos has also gained invaluable coaching experience within the elite youth systems of FC Porto and Sporting Clube de Portugal, as well as being a former Head Coach at the WL Figo Football Academy in China.
Supported by a strong level of academic qualifications in football - including learning under FC Barcelona’s former longstanding 1st Team Coach Paco Seirul·lo as part of the INEFC and FC Barcelona Foundation’s Master’s degree - Carlos provides an engaging, knowledge and highly organised presence to a coaching structure while striving to achieve a club’s vision for success.

- Won the 2011 SMD Caneças Youth Football Tournament, beating SL Benfica 5-1 in the final and securing the Best Player, Top Goal Scorer and Best Goalkeeper individual awards at
- Won the 2011 Caldas da Rainha U11 Football Tournament, beating SL Benfica 4-1 in the final and securing the Best Player and Top Goal Scorer individual awards
- Won the 2011 Sacavenense Fall Tournament, beating SL Benfica 4-3 in the final and securing the Best Player and Top Goal Scorer individual awards
- Won the 109th Anniversary CIF Triangular Tournament in 2011, with one player finishing as the tournament’s top goal scorer
