I am a dedicated and driven USSF A License and USC Director of Coaching qualified Head Coach and Technical Director who possesses a proven track record in building and growing clubs on the field and off it in the United States.

Throughout my coaching career I have demonstrated the ability to design coaching programs and curriculums to enhance player development within Youth Soccer, Women’s Football, College, High School and Olympic Development Programs (ODP).

As an award-winning Coach I have contributed to on-field success at clubs, colleges and high schools and I have mentored coaches at all levels within the game to enhance their professional development and attain coaching qualifications.

  • Assisted in the merger of several soccer clubs to form Sporting Iowa, one of the largest member organizations in the state
  • Initiated new indoor Futsal league for over 350 players, grossing over $50,000
  • Contributed to becoming one of the fastest growing youth soccer clubs in the state
  • Implemented a more professional structure at Iowa Rush by cutting Directors managing daily operations from 17 to 9
  • Increased Iowa Rush budget by 30% from $500,000 to $700,000, gross income increased by 59%
  • Successfully created and launched Iowa’s first women’s semi-professional team, competing in the WPSL
  • Camps, clinics and leagues increased by 250% at Iowa Rush
  • Negotiated agreement with city for lights installation, raised $250,000 towards cost of lighting platforms for Iowa Rush
  • Developed Idaho Rush youth soccer program for 3,500 players, supervised 75 staff members and overhauled technical dept
  • With Iowa Soccer Club designed and developed new soccer program and increased membership and teams from 4 to 18
  • Built new Women’s program at Drake University from scratch and won championship in second year
  • Led Drake University to an unprecedented four consecutive Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) championships; 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006
  • MVC Tournament champions 2006, MVC Tournament finalists three years in a row
  • Developed and mentored 5 Academic All Americans, 26 Scholar-Athletes, 42 All-MVC Player, 4 MVC Players of the Year, 17 All-MVC Tournament Players, 6 All-Region Players
  • MVC Record 28-7-4 and overall record 64-43-13
  • Won three consecutive Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year awards
  • Region II ODP (1984 Age Group) champions and Region II ODP (1990 Age Group) champions with Iowa State ODP
  • 2015 Mississippi Athletic Conference (MAV) Coach of the Year and 1992 MVC Coach of the Year
  • 2015 MAV Co-Champions (6 All-Conference selections), 2016 and 2017 MAC Runners-up
  • Region 1 ODP champions with Virginia State OPD team
  • Coached and developed Region I players, placed 6 players in two years on Youth National Team and 4 in MLS
  • Developed Region II players, placed 20 players over ten years
  • Placed 12 players on the US or Canada Youth National teams during ten-year period and several on NWSL teams
  • 2001 Iowa Soccer Association Coach of the Year and won the 2001 U19 Norway Cup
