An accomplished football coach who has established a strong record in player development and technical based coaching since retiring from a 20 year playing career that incorporated over 600 appearances, clubs in four countries and experience playing in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup.

Currently the First Team Manager of DSK Shivajians FC and formerly the Head Coach of Liverpool FC’s International Academy in India, providing a driving point of leadership in long term player and coach performance - with several players progressing to international and senior club football.

This success led to selection as part of Indian National Team Manager Stephen Constantine’s backroom staff for the country’s 2015 SAFF Championship victory, successfully applying lessons learned as a player as well as a forward thinking and positive approach to the game to have a tangible impact on their technical, tactical, psychological and physical improvement.

  • Liverpool Football Club’s International Academy qualified for the All India U19 knockout stages during their first season in India
  • LFCIA U19 finished joint top of their All India group and qualified for the finals, which encompasses eight of India’s best teams
  • Three of LFCIA’s players have been called up to the final selection of India’s national U19 squad
  • Oversees LFCIA’s 64 full-time residential academy players, and directly manages eight members of staff
  • Won the Meath & District Premier League, the Tully Cup and the Kilmessan Shield in 2012 with Woodview Celtic FC, the first team in the league’s history to achieve a treble
  • Won the 2012/13 Challenge Cup with Duleek AFC
  • 2005/06 All Ireland winners with the Shelbourne FC U21 team
  • Promoted 12 DSK academy players to the first team and supported their development into regular contributors
  • Six players have earned international call-ups from DSK to the Indian national team
  • Won the DSK International Cup in December 2016 with a team that included eight academy graduates
  • 20 India international players developed over three years from under 19/23/Senior
