Dragan Jenic

Assistant Football Coach/Manager

  • Date Joined: 30th August 2016
Dragan Jenic started his club career, playing for hometown “Bor FC” in Ex-Yugoslavia. He quickly marked himself out as a talented youngster; quickly progressing to the first team in 1975 playing in Yugoslavian 2nd division.
Unfortunately 24 year old soccer professional due to a fractured leg and number of injuries was looking to move into the football coaching and he was issued with Football Coach Certificate, coaching youth selections.
In 1991 after successful university study he gets his “Professional Football Coach University Diploma (Full Badge)”.
As war started in Yugoslavia Dragan came in England and he worked as a Football Coach/Manager in: Active Kids (Academy Football School), Hendon FC, Kensington Dragons FC and Queens Park Rangers Woman FC.
Since obtaining UEFA A (level 4) in 2007 Dragan shared his time as both: referee and an assistant coach at Queens Park Rangers Ladies FC as had a passion for either role. However as the years catch him becomes increasingly difficult to sustain his fitness level for refereeing and he believe it’s time to invest his full attention into the football coaching.
His completion of the UEFA A (level 4) Licence has fully equipped him with all the necessary skills and knowledge, including management, teaching techniques, and training programs. Equally beneficial for the role is his completion of all Youth Modules during my UEFA A course. He participate competitively in ladies football on a regular basis and he has extensive experience in training and coaching young people in a leadership role.
He is enthusiastic, reliable, organised and hardworking. His motivation and positive nature enable him to relate to people at all fitness levels and ages, and he often proved to be a great role model for the young players. He have competed many times in team challenge events and therefore worked well in a competitive team environment.
