After migration to England in 2012 with my family, I could no longer remain out of the game and began my coaching career. My first role with Westhamians FC 1st team head coach, as an unknown, newly qualified coach, was an eye opening experience and I knew I had found my new career. Even newly qualified, I wanted more - to learn more, to coach more, to teach more.
I continued to study, swiftly earning my coaching and referee badges.
My next role was under the wing of a UEFA A Licence manager, who allowed me to question his decisions, his methods and was always willing to discuss key moments with me. For four seasons we worked together at Forest Hill Park FC and then Meridian VP as the first team Management.
In our last season, I was able to attain my UEFA B Licence while being assistant to him and also managing a girls youth team on my own.
My key skills are that I am excellent at man management, reading people and understanding individuals. My adaptability, personality and love of the game mean I can work with a wide range of people and can bring out the best in others. The fact that I fully understand my job as a coach is never done, means I am always looking to learn new things, whether on my own or by working with others. I am not afraid to put my ideas forward if it will help the team.
