A natural leader and established centre back who has experience playing in Scotland, England, European competition and on the international stage under several highly regarded managers.
An intelligent and tactically astute player who has successfully began the transition into coaching and player development, making key contributions at both U20 and 1st team level at current club Dundee FC.
A driven and forward thinking professional who is able to provide a positive presence both on and off the pitch, effectively organising a defence while providing strong leadership and mentoring in the dressing room.

Due to suffering a serious injury James has used the time to gather valuable coaching experience with the youth team and also in a first team environment.
