Testimonials:
“Since Kevin assumed the role with East Coast Bays he has been part of successfully overseeing a complete club overhaul from grassroots through to youth and seniors including the staffing structure. This has resulted in the club’s credibility in the amateur football scene reaching levels that hadn’t been witnessed before. It’s no surprise to me now that under this new direction East Coast Bays is seen as one of the powerhouse clubs in the north island of New Zealand with a very healthy player base that emphasizes this. A number of current and future prospective national New Zealand age group players both male and female are now representing the Country from the club. More importantly Kevin has supported in recruiting some of the top youth development specialists in the Auckland region with a clear vision and philosophy in youth and senior development. This has resulted in not only a professional club environment but an environment that fosters continued development from players and coaches alike. Something that is rare to find in New Zealand. He has a unique skillset that he’s clearly progressed and developed over time utilising the latest trends in elite player development.” - Jess Ibrom: Technical Director, Football Federation Samoa

“I worked with Kevin when we were both based in the United States and he is the perfect person to lead a soccer club moving forward. Kevin’s vision and philosophy on technical development and style of play were aligned with mine when I was the Academy Director at Orlando City Soccer Club. His extensive experience and knowledge of the modern game, his commitment to educating and coaching players to play the game the right way, to recognize their strengths and bring the very best out of them, and his ability to pass this knowledge on would be an asset to any club striving to develop and prosper within the game. Kevin is passionately committed to player development and is able to effortlessly emphasize with young players at all levels, while also displaying leadership qualities that enable players to gain the maximum benefit out of his coaching sessions.” - David Longwell: Academy Manager, Shrewsbury Town FC & Former Academy Director, Orlando City Soccer Club

“Getting to know Kevin over the past seven years, I have come to respect him for his professionalism, work ethic and attention to detail towards the game. His knowledge base regarding youth player development is impressive and he is generous in sharing his ideas and experience. Kevin is an educational trainer and often spends many hours beyond what is expected of him to continue to improve the players he is working with. He takes the initiative to perform his job and discover ways to make himself better any chance he can. Having watched Kevin’s coaching career over these years, I would have no hesitation in recommending him for a position both working with youths or adults.” - Graham Zusi: Sporting Kansas City and United States Men’s National Soccer Team

“I have over twenty years’ experience coaching at Elite Academy levels, as well as youth clubs across a broad spectrum of age groups and abilities and assisted in the development of several young players now professionals and some internationally capped for their country. I also have a wealth of experience with young coaches. Having known and worked with Kevin at both Jupiter United SC and The Benjamin School, I have been very impressed with his knowledge and coaching ability, coupled with his management of staff, parents and young players. He is a very forward-thinking young coach and studies the game with a thirst to learn more. Kevin has a good personality and likeable manner; it is a skill more senior coaches like myself would look for in a young coach. Kevin’s already suited to what I believe is a prerequisite as a modern coach. You have to be liked and respected, as well as knowledgeable and approachable as a coach, I found Kevin to be all of these. As he continues with his coach education, he shall become a very talented coach and an asset to any organization.” - Ian M Fergus: Head Development Coach, Falkirk FC
