Konstantinos Papapostolou

General Manager

  • Date Joined: 30th August 2016
o I am a supportive and positive leader equally as comfortable holding ownership for performance as working as part of a coordinated senior management team. I have consistently been able to drive significant operational change at both APOEL and my former club AEK Athens FC, and have a strategic mind-set in the achievement of defined targets

o My previous roles include Technical Operations Manager of the 2004 Olympic Games Football Dept. and Venue Communication Centre Manager of the 2007 UEFA Champions League Final, positions that have built my expertise in coordinating large scale events, managing large teams and acting as a key liaison between multiple high profile organisations and NGBs

o I understand the importance in providing athletes and members the exceptional service standards, world class facilities, high performance environment and administrative support they need to excel through my proven record in international event management, multi-site facilities management and delivering sustainable and cost effective growth

o As well as my experience in football I have a strong knowledge of multiple sports gained through my position at Middlesex University as well as work at the 1997 IAAF World Championships and having gained qualifications in gym training, volleyball and basketball
