- Key part of the Stoke City FC team that reached the 2011 FA Cup final against Manchester City, scoring the opening goal in a 5-0 win against Bolton in the semi-finals
- Named the 2009/10 Player of the Year for Stoke City FC
- Qualified for the UEFA Europa League in 2010/11 with Stoke City FC
- Helped the Stoke City FC team finish 9th in the 2013/14 Premier League season, the club’s highest ever Premier League position and their best finish since 1974/75
- Won the Championship play-off final in 2004/05 to return the West Ham United FC to the Premier League
