A versatile, well-travelled and hard-working individual seeking a new challenge in professional football. An experienced engineer, member of the Parachute Regiment and Royal Air Force, I have worked in challenging environments to perform reconnaissance and gather market intelligence.
As a proud football fan, I am fortunate enough to have followed and loved the sport throughout my life so far and am certain that I this will only flourish within the role.
Having completed my Scouting and reporting qualifications with the PFSA I am highly focused on completing my coaching badges with the FAW in order to further my knowledge and understanding of the sport, in turn I am convinced that I can combine my life experience with the FAW teachings to make myself a valued member of Middlesbrough Football Club.
Processing data and identifying critical success factors to improve team and product performance whilst meeting tight deadlines is standard procedure. These are skills that I have been using to enhance my scouting and opposition analysis reports for the PFSA on different football clubs.
I am a qualified, hands on Engineer and soldier with security clearance and 8 years’ experience of supervising and delivering the first class fault-finding, installation, testing, maintenance and repair of complex aeronautical systems used in Royal Air Force’s Typhoon jets. Having completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering in Science and Manufacturing Technologies, I also possess a NVQ Level 3 in Aeronautical Engineering, as well as being trained to the level of NA7237-5 Certificate of Competence in Installation & Testing of Electrical Systems and City & Guilds 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
In my current role, I work closely with a multi-discipline team in support of the integration and development of systems culminating in gaining thorough knowledge and understanding of the system interaction with the aircraft before progressing to conducting system tests in the Rooflab. This requires a high degree of familiarity with a broad range of software tools, test equipment, project specific processes and procedures. The role requires active participation in trials related documentation, trials plans, installation procedures, user manuals, risk assessments, trials instructions, flight planning and trials reports.
